Dollie Mae Boykin

Mrs. Dollie Mae Boykin transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Center. 

Mrs. Boykin was a lifelong member of the Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of the Pope Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Reverend Carl Hill, Reverend Samuel E. McGlockton, Reverend Dana J. Boykin, Reverend Freddie Tellis, Reverend Angus Jackson, Jr., Reverend Freddie Roulhac, and the Reverend Dr. Herbert W. Corbin, Jr. (pastor) officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Boykin will lie in repose from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

A viewing will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home. 

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Linzie Boykin, Sr., Son, Linzie Boykin, Jr. and Daughter, Velma Jean Lee Baker.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Daughters: Reola Blackson of Philadelphia, PA; Darlene Boykin of Marianna, FL; Son: Jefferson Odis Boykin (Linda) of Marianna, FL; Daughter: Dana Boykin of Midway, FL and Son: Harold Felix Boykin of Marianna, FL; Sister: Mrs. Catherine Barkley of Orlando, FL; Brothers: Robert Roulhac (Pat) of Augusta, GA and Earl Roulhac Sr. of Marianna, FL; Grandchildren: Tyrell Baker (Tanna) of Quincy, FL; Terry Baker, Jr. of Ft. Collins, CO; Zakaya Card of Malone, FL; Marques DonDray Boykin Spates (LaZambia) of Orange Park, FL; Keyana Brewer of Naples, FL; Chancellor Johnson of Marianna, FL; Jaquace Laquan Boykin of Pensacola, FL; Maya Danielle Boykin, Brandon Boykin, and Ra’Terrika Hughes all of Marianna, FL; Great Granddaughter: Brianna Nicole Spates of Orange Park, FL; Aunt: Mrs. Catherine McElroy of Gretna, FL; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends
